I had the seafood pasta last time and loved it, so this time I tried the seafood stew—it had a nice kick and was super flavorful. The pizza was also great, with fresh, nutty cheese that stood out. The servers here are always professional and courteous, which makes every visit feel special. Definitely one of my go-to spots! ”

“ I eat out a lot and very rarely does the entire meal for 4 people go perfectly without a hitch. The timing of the food was never too fast or slow. Our drinks and waters were always filled. Someone came to check on us periodically and the food was chef’s kiss. My rack of lamb was superb. I shared it with my mom and it was the right amount of food for us as we aren’t big eaters. There were 6 pieces which I thought was very generous. The service from the host to our server and every server I interacted with was warm and genuine. The outdoor/indoor dining is so unique. I feel like I’ve been transported to Italy with all the terracotta plants and small details. I will try to come here each time I’m in town. Thank you for a great evening! ”

“ Top-notch Italian restaurant—just as everyone said! The food was absolutely amazing, and the portion sizes were generous with high-quality ingredients. From the moment we walked in, we felt very welcomed. The service was excellent, and the warm, traditional Italian decor added to the cozy and authentic atmosphere. Our server, Allison, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made our visit even more enjoyable. We didn’t have time for starters or dessert, but we went straight for the mains: the seafood pasta and Margherita pizza. The pasta was packed with flavor and came with a generous amount of abalone—simply delicious. The pizza had a thin, crispy crust and was perfectly baked in an open flame oven. We loved both dishes. Definitely our go-to spot next time we’re in Victoria! ”

Our server, Dean, was outstanding—friendly, observant, and genuinely attentive. He anticipated our needs throughout the evening. For example, when we ordered a lot of food, he brought a takeout box for our pizza in advance so we wouldn’t need to ask mid-meal. It’s that level of thoughtfulness that really stood out. When we casually asked for a local fish and chips recommendation, Dean didn’t just give us an answer—he went the extra mile and checked with a colleague who knew the area better, ensuring we got the best suggestions. That level of care and engagement was so appreciated. As for the food—it was fantastic. The focaccia bread was warm and paired beautifully with finely chopped olives. I had the bolognese, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. I loved that they used fusilli pasta; it’s not commonly served, but it holds the sauce so well and makes for a perfect bite. The atmosphere was just right—cozy, welcoming, and ideal for a romantic evening or a special night out. Prices were reasonable given the quality of the food and service. Highly recommend Il Terrazzo. “ Absolutely fantastic Italian hidden gem! Hidden down an alleyway and cool vibe inside. The atmosphere was buzzing but still perfect for conversation, which was great. Service was incredibly professional and smooth from start to finish. The touch of letting me taste the wine before pouring was awesome. The food was outstanding (Pollo dish was easily 8-9/10) and very filling. Easily one of our top dining experiences on the island. Highly recommended. ”

“ The food here is amazing! The restaurant is close quarters, but fun and cozy. They start you off with amazing fresh baked focaccia bread and they olive tapenade. Make a reservation a few days in advance or you wont get in. Also if you are planning to have a bottle of wine. Do your research on Italian and Tuscan wine before hand. They have a very large wine list that can make your head spin. All of the staff have been friendly and knowledgeable about all the wine and food choices. ”
